A Restaurant Walk Fund Raiser

On April 20, 2010, the Lions Club in the Montclair district of Oakland CA held a fundraising event.  They enlisted the participation of various restaurants in Montclair, who provided a sampling of their menus to those who bought a ticket book.

A restaurant walk is easy to setup, is a win-win for the sponsoring charity and provides the local businesses with exposure to new customers, advertising both in the ticket books themselves and through word-of-mouth, and brings many new customers into the business district.
